Eduardo Farhat

Eduardo Farhat is Managing Director, Infrastructure, Latin America overseeing all CDPQ infrastructures investments in the region and Managing Director for CDPQ Brasil, responsible for positioning CDPQ as a partner of choice for all asset classes in Brazil. Mr. Farhat has more than 20 years of experience in the principal investment industry. Before joining CDPQ in 2019, he was one of the founders of InfraVestor Capital, a local investment firm specialized in infrastructure investments. He also spent close to a decade at Darby Private Equity, most recently as Managing Director at the São Paulo Office, managing investments in various types of infrastructure including wind & hydro power, ports and oil & gas. He also worked in Corporate Recovery Services at KPMG in Brazil and in the private equity firm Southern Cross Group in Latin America. Eduardo started his professional career at McKinsey where he worked at several offices including Brazil, Sweden and Spain.

Mr. Farhat holds an MBA in business administration from INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France) and a Bachelor in Mechanics Aeronautics Engineering from ITA – Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (São José dos Campos, Brazil).
