Private equity firms CMC Capital Partners and FountainVest Partners have sold 20 million shares in Hong Kong-listed cinema company IMAX China via a block trade on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The sale was part of an agreement in which CMC and FountainVest extended the lock-up period for their remaining stakes an additional three months from the previously agreed date of 8 April 2016. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
