Manipal Hospitals Raises US$100 Million (Asia)

Manipal Hospitals, the healthcare-focused subsidiary of India’s Manipal Education and Medical Group, has received US$100 million from Indian private equity firm India Value Fund Advisors (IVFA). Manipal Hospitals operates 2,000 beds in 15 proprietary hospitals and 2,800 beds in 20 third-party hospitals. The company plans to double the number of beds it manages in its proprietary hospitals to 4,000 over the next two years through organic and inorganic expansion. Manipal Hospitals reportedly expects a future investment of an additional US$100 million from IVFA.
