Early-stage technology investor NSI Ventures, the venture arm of Southeast Asia-focused alternative investment fund manager Northstar Group, has led a Series A round for Singapore-based online insurance provider Axinan. Existing investor Linea Ventures and other undisclosed investors also participated in the round. Axinan plans to use the new capital to expand across Southeast Asia, build new partnerships, accelerate hiring and invest in research and development for additional digital insurance products. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
