In July 2018, Mekong Capital invested in Pizza 4P’s, a Vietnam-based restaurant chain known for its sustainably sourced local ingredients.
In collaboration with Mekong, Pizza 4P’s intensified its focus on sustainability by eliminating plastic straws, incorporating compostable plastic bags, further expanding its farm-to-table concept and launching a zero-waste restaurant in Cambodia. The company also undertook energy conservation efforts by installing photovoltaic panels on restaurant rooftops, generating an approximate supply rate of 5%.
Since the partnership began, Pizza 4P’s has expanded from seven to 22 restaurants and food trucks and serves more than 7,900 customers per day.
