The Rising Tide of Chinese RMB Funds
International investors and managers have demonstrated increasing levels of interest in RMB funds as vehicles for investing into China. This article reviews the differences between foreign-funded and purely domestic RMB funds and offers insight into recent regulatory changes that have established the QFLP program and allowed investment by insurance funds into private equity.
