Francois Felli is the Global Lead Counsel for Private Equity at IFC.  François manages the legal team in charge of investments in funds (Growth, PE, Venture), co-investments, fund restructurings and complex workouts across emerging markets. Francois led the legal aspects of the Abraaj restructurings. Francois has extensive mergers and acquisitions experience and worked on project finance matters as he was IFC’s Global Lead Counsel for investments in the transport sector for 3 years.

Before joining IFC, Francois Felli worked at BNP Paribas in the Acquisition & Partnership department. He also worked at Eurazeo, one of the largest listed investment companies in Europe, and at Linklaters (an international law firm) in their Paris and London offices. Francois is a former Avocat au Barreau de Paris and former Solicitor of the Court of England and Wales and has a master’s in business law from Paris V Rene Descartes and a Master of Comparative Law from Paris 2 Pantheon Assas.
