Mr. Franco joined Nexus Group (NG) in 2009, and has been responsible for deal sourcing and execution, as well as, capital raising efforts. Key acquisitions led include: Quicorp, San Miguel Industrias PET, Universidad Tecnológica del Perú, Inkafarma among others. He was also CEO at San Miguel Industrias PET “SMI”, an NG portfolio company. During his tenure Mr. Franco expanded SMI´s operations to Colombia, Ecuador and Central America. Consolidating SMI as the leading rigid packaging company in Latin America.
Prior to joining NG, he executed the role of Vice President at JPMorgan´s Latin American Investment Banking Group in NY, as well as CFO at Atacocha Mining Company. Mr. Franco holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA in Economics from Universidad Católica del Perú.
