Mateo Goldman is currently the Acting Vice President, Office of Equity and Investment Funds at the U.S. International Development Finance Corp. (DFC), where he is responsible for managing DFC’s division dedicated to investment funds and direct equity investments.  Prior to joining the DFC, Mateo was the General Counsel and CCO of GPI Capital, a New York-based private equity fund manager, where he managed all aspects of the legal and regulatory affairs of the firm’s global investment activity and operations, including the ESG analysis and monitoring of its investee companies. Prior to joining GPI Capital in 2016, Mateo was Counsel at BTG Pactual, covering the U.S. and international legal aspects of the bank’s private equity funds and investment bank.  Mateo also served as a corporate Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York, where he focused on cross-border capital markets and M&A transactions for the firm’s international and U.S. clients.
